Recently, the joint certification body of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and CTTL Terminal Labs issued a "Excellent" certification for the positioning performance of Huawei HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 and HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Pro, which provide sports enthusiasts with a more accurate and reliable choice of smart wearable devices.

As a must-have smart device for sports enthusiasts, smart watches can not only ensure sports safety and increase sports fun, but also record sports data and provide professional guidance. In 2024, the CTTL Terminal Labs has formulated relevant test standards and issued the first batch of certificates, which cover the open scenes, unilateral occlusion scenes and urban canyon scenes commonly used by watch users, and the test cases include key indicators such as positioning accuracy, positioning delay, mileage accuracy and speed measurement accuracy, so as to comprehensively evaluate the positioning performance of smart watches in outdoor sports.

After a comprehensive evaluation, Huawei's two smartwatches rely on their five-star dual-frequency sunflower positioning system to maintain optimal status even in complex environments such as high-rise buildings, providing accurate trajectory and distance data, fully meeting the requirements of "excellent" positioning performance.

Subsequently, the CTTL-Terminal Labs will continue to promote the certification and testing of wearable devices, refine the test scenarios and improve the test cases for different terminal types, provide strong support for the development of the satellite navigation industry and the promotion of quality brands, and help improve the quality of equipment with high-end quality testing, so that more users can benefit from the development of high-precision navigation and positioning technology.
