Recently, under the guidance of the Information and Communication Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (hereinafter referred to as the CAICT) has given full play to the advantages of technical means, gathered the forces of all parties in the industry, and developed the "Intelligent Defense" artificial intelligence model for personal information protection. At a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on January 19, 2024, Zhao Zhiguo, chief engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, pointed out that it is necessary to "actively use innovative technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence models to help agile, accurate and efficient supervision".

"Intelligent Defense" provides multi-modal and diversified services such as compliance consulting, risk detection, code generation, and operation guidance for upstream and downstream entities in the industry such as mobile Internet application developers, distribution platforms, terminal manufacturers, and testing institutions, and builds a new paradigm of AI-empowered personal information protection. In the next step, the CAICT will continue to expand the application of the "Intelligent Defense" large model, and actively use AI technology to empower APP governance and serve the development of the industry.
