CAICT released the first batch of Spark-link digital car key test results

On June 24, 2025, the 2025 Intelligent Vehicle Industry Ecological Alliance (ICCE) working conference was held in Beijing, which gathered dozens of member units of the intelligent terminal and automotive industry chain to conduct in-depth discussions on the construction of digital car key standards, testing and certification, and industrial practices.

During the meeting, the CTTL Terminal Labs (CTTL-T) of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (hereinafter referred to as the CAICT), as the leader unit of the ICCE Alliance Digital Car Key Working Group, comprehensively introduced the leading construction of the Sparklink digital car key evaluation system, and disclosed the technical details of the Starlight digital car key system test method and the first round of product testing for the first time, providing technical support for the large-scale implementation of the digital car key industry, marking a new stage of digital car key standardization in China.

Yuan Qi, Director of the Mobile Security Department of the CTTL-T of CAICT, delivered a keynote speech on the "Work Plan of the Digital Car Key Working Group" and the "Digital Car Key Test Specification Presentation and Test Certification Practice Sharing". After five years of development, the ICCE digital car key standard system has covered mainstream technologies such as Bluetooth, NFC, UWB and Starlight. In the first half of 2025, the CTTL-T took the lead in completing the formulation and release of the "T/ICCE 301-2025 Smart Vehicle Connected Industry Ecological Alliance Digital Car Key System Test Part 1 Starlight System", which includes 22 tests in 7 categories of vehicles and 17 tests in 7 categories of mobile terminals, and proposes clear test methods for core processes such as key activation, broadcast discovery and access, pairing authentication, authentication, control instructions, notification instructions, and data transparent transmission. Among them, the test system adopts standardized tools to simulate the real vehicle-device-cloud interactive environment to ensure the standardization and accuracy of the test. In the evaluation practice sharing session, the Thiel Terminal Laboratory of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology announced the first round of actual test results: the Zunjie S800 vehicle-side Starlight digital car key system and Huawei Pura 80 Pro Starlight digital car key software, respectively, as the benchmark products of the vehicle-side and mobile terminal Starlight digital car key, passed the authoritative test of the CTTL-T of CAICT.

Testing and certification is the cornerstone of the high-quality development of the industry, and the CTTL-T of CAICT, as an authoritative testing institution in the information and communication industry, will continue to give full play to its advantages in technical research and evaluation in the field of digital car keys through standard guidance and scientific evaluation, and continue to improve its full-stack testing capabilities covering Bluetooth, NFC, UWB and Starlight digital car keys, so as to continue to contribute to accelerating the high-quality innovation and development of the digital car key industry.
