CTTL Terminal Labs and CQC jointly launched the "Visual Health Friendliness" certification

With the rapid development and popularization of 5G and mobile Internet, the society has entered the "video era", and the visual health problems caused by long-term and high-intensity eye use habits have attracted widespread attention. The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (hereinafter referred to as "CAICT") has been actively fulfilling its mission, and has continued to conduct in-depth research on the display performance of various electronic screens and the visual health of users for many years, and jointly launched the "Visual Health Friendliness Certification Active Luminous Display Device" project with China Quality Certification Center (hereinafter referred to as "CQC").

The evaluation of this project is completed in accordance with the CQC/PV12001.1-2023 "Technical Specification for Visual Health Friendliness Certification Part 1: Active Luminous Display Equipment" formulated by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and the Zhongshan Eye Center of Sun Yat-sen University. Among them, visual comfort is a human factors experiment, and the final evaluation results are obtained through the combination of objective test and subjective comfort evaluation, including EEG and eye movement indicators.

There are four levels of corresponding performance of the product, which are qualified, good, excellent and excellent, of which the excellent level corresponds to the highest level (S++ level). Xiaomi's just-released k70 series smartphones have obtained the first visual health friendliness S++ certification, marking that the eye care technology of smartphone screens has entered a new era of evaluation of medical and engineering integration.

In recent years, the CTTL Terminal Labs has focused on promoting the audio-visual health and high-quality development of display terminals, and has formed the "Intelligent Terminal Juvenile Visual Health and Safety Protection Certification Project" in the early stage, and this "Visual Health Friendliness Certification Project" is also a move to continue to steadily implement the scientific research achievements accumulated over the years, and will continue to promote more projects for new display terminals in the future. In the face of the big problem of deep integration of science and technology and health, CTTL Terminal Labs is willing to cooperate deeply with all parties in industry, university and research, collaborate on continuous innovation, and jointly build a solid line of defense for display health.
