"Beijing Engineering Laboratory for Intelligent Terminal Hardware Testing and Verification" undertaken by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) In 2019, it was recognized as a provincial and ministerial key laboratory by the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, focusing on the innovation and development needs of the whole industry chain of pan-intelligent terminals, committed to continuously promoting the supply of key technologies such as 5G, improving the sustainable development ability of the industry, providing enterprises with technology and services with their own intellectual property rights, providing authoritative testing and certification services for the society, and improving the original innovation ability and sustainable development ability of the national intelligent terminal hardware industry.
Based on the strategic industrial direction of mobile Internet, the laboratory is oriented to solving the key technical problems of key technologies of intelligent terminal hardware such as wireless communication technology, chip manufacturing, operating system design, and application software development in terms of function, 5G radio frequency, protocol, and interoperability. Research on intelligent terminal hardware operating system and intelligent terminal hardware security detection technology, form a public third-party testing service platform, serve the upstream, midstream and downstream nodes of the industry, and promote the in-depth integration of the information industry and the industrial industry. In view of the current problems faced in the field of intelligent terminal hardware, the laboratory mainly carries out research on key technologies such as testing, verification and standardization of intelligent terminal hardware, operating system and short-range communication.
1. 5G standardization research and related tests, including research on international and domestic test standards for 5G terminals, and 5G-related tests for mandatory, consistent and key operators in various countries.
2. New operating system and user experience evaluation, serving the research of operating system, application software and other technologies, providing software testing, user experience evaluation, APP testing, cloud gaming, AI, OS and other services for smart terminals.
3. In the field of artificial intelligence, research key AI technologies and build product evaluation capabilities, including intelligent translation evaluation, intelligent voice evaluation, terminal face lock screen evaluation and other capabilities.
4. Chips and integrated circuits, promote the construction of integrated circuit laboratories, comprehensively improve chip testing capabilities, and research and support work on many chips such as commercial cryptographic algorithm chips, 5G chips, and mobile phone chip localization.
5. New wireless short-range communication technology, research short-distance communication technology with domestic independent intellectual property rights, promote the industrialization of new short-range technology, and provide short-distance related tests.
The laboratory has built a comprehensive coverage of intelligent terminal application performance, audio and video performance, radio frequency, protocol, machine card interface, electromagnetic compatibility, data performance, software testing and other testing capabilities, providing a comprehensive testing platform for intelligent terminal performance testing, software and hardware testing. At present, the laboratory's testing capabilities cover more than 200 countries around the world, and 100% of the consistency tests are covered, involving new technologies such as Beidou, 5G, millimeter wave, and ultra-wideband communication. Actively promote the improvement of 5G, IPv6, NB-IoT, eSIM, Tiantong satellite and other related standards, testing technology research, test platform development, organize production enterprises, chip companies, operators, and instrument manufacturers to carry out joint debugging and joint testing, effectively promote the technology research and development and industrial development of new technologies and new products, and provide all-round support for the healthy and rapid development of China's intelligent terminal hardware industry chain.
