Recently, with the joint efforts of Xiaomi's R&D team and engineers from the CTTL Terminal Labs, a new mobile phone equipped with a new platform successfully passed all the test items of the European Union's Common Charger. The successful completion of this test not only indicates that the model can fully meet the test requirements of Common Charger, but also the laboratory has accumulated rich experience in testing and debugging in the new CE-RED certification regulations.

The Common Charger is the EU's new Universal Charger Directive, which will be implemented at the end of 2024. This new regulation refers to the USB-IF Type-C specification and PD fast charging specification, which involves complex test content and high test requirements, which is quite difficult for manufacturers who are new to this test. Especially for products with complex functions and delicate designs such as smartphones, there will be higher challenges in the commissioning process.
