The visual health friendliness certification is the first certification project that adopts the technical specifications of medical engineering integration to comprehensively evaluate the optical display performance and human comfort of the equipment. The technical specification was formulated by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (hereinafter referred to as "China Academy of Information and Communications Technology") in conjunction with the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center (ZOC) of Sun Yat-sen University, the China Quality Certification Center and terminal manufacturers, and is mainly for active light-emitting display devices, including TVs, mobile phones, computers, smart screens and other products.

The Redmi Turbo 3 mobile phone and the Redmi Pad Pro tablet have also carried out visual health evaluations one after another, and passed all the test items and obtained the S++ certification for visual health friendliness issued by the China Quality Certification Center.

The S++ evaluation system covers the dimensions of anechoic room optical display performance, bright room ambient light characteristics, optical radiation safety performance, visual comfort evaluation, intelligent perception and protection, and time management. Among them, visual comfort is a human factors experiment, and the final evaluation results are given through the combination of objective test and subjective comfort evaluation, including EEG and eye movement indicators. The corresponding evaluation level of the product can be divided into four levels, namely qualified, good, excellent and excellent, of which excellent corresponds to S++ level, which is the highest level. The corresponding certification models of the certified products are: 24069RA21C, 2405CRPFDC (24074RPD2C).

Guarding the health of the eyes and building a solid line of defense bit by bit, the CTTL-Terminal Labs of the Chinese Academy of Information and Communications Technology is willing to contribute research wisdom and output service results, continue to collaborate and innovate with industry, academia and research, and increase in-depth cooperation with all parties.
