On May 16, 2024, the AIPC Technology Salon and Standards Seminar hosted by the CTTL Terminal Labs of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (hereinafter referred to as "CAICT") was successfully held in Beijing. Ma Xin said in his speech that with the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, AIPC, as an important part of the intelligent terminal industry, has attracted great attention from the industry, and AIPC products have been significantly improved in terms of performance, intelligent services and user experience. However, the rapid development of the industry also brings a series of challenges such as inconsistent technical standards, poor product compatibility, high market access thresholds, and poor application ecology. The CTTL Terminal Labs of the CAICT will actively promote the development of AIPC technical standards, hoping to guide and standardize the development direction of the AIPC industry through standardized means, promote the healthy development of the industry, and provide solid technical support for the long-term development of the industry.
Fu Rongrong, deputy director of the Intelligent Product Evaluation Department of the CTTL Terminal Labs of CAICT, delivered a keynote speech on "Research and Judgment on the Development Trend of the Next-Generation Terminal Industry", introduced the current situation and challenges of the development of the intelligent terminal industry, and predicted and analyzed the product form, application service characteristics, and industrial ecological structure of the next-generation terminal.
Qin Tiangang, Director of Strategic BD of Lenovo China, shared "AIPC Technology and Trends", he said that AIPC is a terminal device that can open the inclusive personal large model, with full-modal natural interaction conditions, can cover the whole scene of work, study and life, and realize intelligent emergence and multi-intent services.
Zhang Beihang, Director of AI System Planning of HONOR PC Products, introduced the "value proposition of HONOR AIPC", saying that the essence of AIPC will eventually return to the leapfrog of experience, and will open up human-centered intelligent interaction, and with the empowerment of AI, it will build a multi-terminal industry ecology of cross-system collaboration.
Sun Yu, Product Director of Intel's Client Business Group, shared "Intel Vision on AI PC". He looked ahead to Intel's vision for the future of AIPC, highlighted how the combination of cloud computing, client computing, and edge computing will shape the future of computing, and introduced a framework for the application of AI on PCs that aims to deliver new, simpler, faster features and better experiences.
In the standard discussion session, the participants had a heated discussion and in-depth communication on the definition and core technology of AIPC, and reached a preliminary consensus on the definition of AIPC. Artificial intelligence is giving birth to a new round of technological innovation and industrial transformation at an unprecedented speed, and the CTTL Terminal Labs will continue to carry out research on AIPC's core technology and industrial ecology, accelerate the formulation of industry standards, guide the industry to form unified technical requirements and industry norms, and promote the development of the industry to a higher level and higher level.
