Recently, the "Radiation Disturbance Field Strength (30MHz-1GHz)" proficiency testing project organized and implemented by CTTL Terminal Labs has officially passed the expansion review of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), and obtained the Proficiency Testing Provider (PTP) accreditation certificate (registration number: CNAS PT0090) issued by CNAS.

The project is mainly based on GB/T 9254.1-2021 "Information Technology Equipment, Multimedia Equipment and Receiver Electromagnetic Compatibility Part 1: Emission Requirements", which comprehensively evaluates the radiation disturbance field strength testing capabilities of each participating laboratory. The key elements are the participating laboratories' accurate understanding of proficiency testing work instructions and test basis standards (e.g., sample arrangement, antenna polarization, precise control of test distance), as well as professional ability to process test data (e.g., path compensation, reasonable application of antenna coefficients).

Proficiency testing (PT) is a verification activity to assess, supervise and confirm the ability of the laboratory to ensure that the laboratory maintains a high level of calibration and testing, and is a scientific and effective technical means to prove the technical ability of the testing institution. A Proficiency Testing Provider (PTP) is the organization that takes responsibility for all tasks in the establishment and operation of a proficiency testing program.

Subsequently, CTTL Terminal Labs will continue to adhere to the service tenet of "science, fairness, objectivity and preparation", continue to make efforts, carefully plan and launch more proficiency testing projects for testing parameters, aiming to assist laboratories and testing institutions to further improve their testing capabilities and technical levels, jointly contribute to the high-quality development of the industry, work together to promote the testing field to a new height, and provide solid and powerful technical support and guarantee for all institutions in the fierce market competition.
