In December 2023, CTTL-Terminal Labs helped Sanechips' chip product pass the PSA Level 2 certification, marking that the information security protection capability of the chip has reached the international leading level.

PSA provides a framework based on IoT device security best practices, requiring a consistent security design at both the hardware and firmware levels. PSA Level 2 mainly conducts a comprehensive security assessment for chip products, covering eight security capabilities: secure boot, secure isolation, secure storage, firmware update, security status, cryptographic algorithm, authentication and secure debugging, laying the foundation for device products equipped with the chip to become an important part of the IoT security ecosystem.

CTTL-Terminal Labs is currently a Chinese domestic laboratory authorized by PSA certification, and the testing and evaluation methods of the product include manual review, tool scanning, penetration testing, etc. Through manual code review, the differences between the security function implementation of the product and the PSA Level 2 standard were found, and the company was assisted in rectifying the product functions. In the process of testing and evaluation, the company continuously optimized the evaluation process, improved the quality and efficiency of the work, and issued an evaluation report to the certification body in advance, helping the company successfully obtain the PSA Level 2 certification, which fully demonstrated the professional and technical capabilities of the chip security team of the CTTL-Terminal Labs and was highly recognized by the company.
