On June 19, 2025, the Shenzhen 8K UHD Video Industry Cooperation Alliance officially issued a promotion service organization authorization certificate to the CTTL Terminal Labs, marking that the CTTL Terminal Labs officially obtained the authorization qualification of "GPMI Testing and Certification Center".

GPMI (General Purpose Multimedia Interface) is a new generation of ultra-high-speed general multimedia interface, which has become a major breakthrough on the road of independent innovation of China's interface by virtue of its core technical advantages such as high bandwidth, large power supply, full scene, and high security, and has received extensive attention from domestic and foreign industries. At present, GPMI has completed important work in key areas such as standardization, mass production of chips, multi-scenario functional prototypes and test instrument development, and has fully entered the stage of industrialization and promotion.  

Relying on the deep technical reserves and project experience in the fields of high-speed data interfaces, cables/connectors and fast charging standards, the terminal laboratory of Thiel has been deeply involved in the formulation and verification of GPMI test specifications, and has undertaken the technical acceptance of GPMI chips, finished prototypes and test instruments, making important contributions to the improvement of the GPMI standard system.  

In the future, as a "GPMI testing and certification center", the terminal laboratory will accelerate the construction of the GPMI ecosystem, continue to provide professional technical support and services for industry chain partners, and promote the GPMI interface to quickly achieve real industrialization success.
