First, the overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market

In April 2024, the domestic market shipped 24.071 million mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 28.8%, of which 20.232 million 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 52.2%, accounting for 84.1% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

From January to April 2024, the domestic market shipped 91.486 million mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 12.3%, of which 76.665 million 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 18.3%, accounting for 83.8% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In April 2024, 33 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year decrease of 45.0%, of which 22 were 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year decrease of 24.1%, accounting for 66.7% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

From January to April 2024, 130 new models of domestic mobile phones were listed, a year-on-year decrease of 12.8%, of which 71 were 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 6.0%, accounting for 54.6% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

Second, the composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market

In April 2024, domestic brand mobile phone shipments reached 20.576 million units, a year-on-year increase of 25.5%, accounting for 85.5% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 32 new models were listed, a year-on-year decrease of 41.8%, accounting for 97.0% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

From January to April 2024, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 76.286 million units, a year-on-year increase of 20.9%, accounting for 83.4% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 120 new models were listed, a year-on-year decrease of 13.0%, accounting for 92.3% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

Third, the development of domestic smart phones

In April 2024, smartphone shipments reached 22.668 million units, a year-on-year increase of 25.5%, accounting for 94.2% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 28 new models of smartphones on the market, a year-on-year decrease of 45.1%, accounting for 84.8% of the number of new models on the market in the same period.

From January to April 2024, smartphone shipments were 86.441 million units, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%, accounting for 94.5% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 93 new smartphone models, down 29.0% year-on-year, accounting for 71.5% of the number of new smartphone models launched in the same period.
