First, the overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market

In April 2025, the domestic market shipped 25.038 million mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 4.0%, of which 19.889 million 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year decrease of 1.7%, accounting for 79.4% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

From January to April 2025, 94.708 million mobile phones were shipped in the domestic market, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%, of which 80.932 million 5G mobile phones were shipped, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%, accounting for 85.5% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In April 2025, 50 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 47.1%, of which 19 were 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year decrease of 17.4%, accounting for 38.0% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

From January to April 2025, 163 new models of domestic mobile phones were listed, a year-on-year increase of 19.0%, including 82 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 5.1%, accounting for 50.3% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

Second, the composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market

In April 2025, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 21.514 million units, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%, accounting for 85.9% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 45 new models launched by domestic brands, a year-on-year increase of 36.4%, accounting for 90.0% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

From January to April 2025, 82.262 million domestic brand mobile phones were shipped, a year-on-year increase of 7.8%, accounting for 86.9% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 156 new models launched by domestic brands, a year-on-year increase of 22.8%, accounting for 95.7% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

Third, the development of domestic smart phones

In April 2025, smartphone shipments will be 22.294 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 1.7%, accounting for 89.0% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 32 new smartphone models were launched, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%, accounting for 64.0% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

From January to April 2025, smartphone shipments were 86.836 million units, a year-on-year increase of 0.5%, accounting for 91.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 116 new smartphone models, a year-on-year increase of 16.0%, accounting for 71.2% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
