1. Overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market

In April 2026, domestic smartphone shipments will reach 25.733 million units, a year-on-year increase of 2.8%. Of these, 5G phones will be 24.736 million units, up 24.4% year-on-year, accounting for 96.1% of smartphone shipments during the same period.

From January to April 2026, domestic smartphone shipments totaled 86.538 million units, down 8.6% year-on-year. Of these, 5G phones accounted for 80.203 million units, down 0.9% year-on-year, accounting for 92.7% of mobile phone shipments during the same period.

In April 2026, 59 new domestic smartphone models were launched, a year-on-year increase of 18.0%. Among them, 37 were 5G phones, up 94.7% year-on-year, accounting for 62.7% of the new models launched during the same period.

From January to April 2026, 138 new domestic smartphone models were launched, down 15.3% year-on-year, including 85 5G models, up 3.7% year-on-year, accounting for 61.6% of new models launched during the same period.

2. Domestic and international brand composition in the domestic mobile phone market

In April 2026, domestic brand mobile phone shipments reached 22.144 million units, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%, accounting for 86.1% of total mobile phone shipments during the same period; Domestic brands launched 55 new models, a year-on-year increase of 22.2%, accounting for 93.2% of the total new phone models launched during the same period.

From January to April 2026, domestic brand mobile phone shipments totaled 74.36 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 9.6%, accounting for 85.9% of total mobile phone shipments during the same period; Domestic brands launched 130 new models, down 16.7% year-on-year, accounting for 94.2% of new models launched during the same period.

3. Domestic smartphone development

In April 2026, smartphone shipments will reach 25.036 million units, a year-on-year increase of 12.3%, accounting for 97.3% of total smartphone shipments during the same period; 50 new smartphone models were launched, a year-on-year increase of 56.3%, accounting for 84.7% of the total new models launched during the same period.

From January to April 2026, smartphone shipments totaled 82.076 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 5.5%, accounting for 94.8% of total smartphone shipments during the same period; 115 new smartphone models were launched, down 0.9% year-on-year, accounting for 83.3% of the total new models launched during the same period.
