First, the overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market
In December 2024, 34.528 million mobile phones were shipped in the domestic market, a year-on-year increase of 22.1%, of which 30.433 million 5G mobile phones were shipped, a year-on-year increase of 25.8%, accounting for 88.1% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.
From January to December 2024, the domestic market shipped 314 million mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 8.7%, of which 272 million 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 13.4%, accounting for 86.4% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In December 2024, 28 new models of domestic mobile phones were listed, a year-on-year increase of 7.7%, including 5 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year decrease of 54.5%, accounting for 17.9% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.
From January to December 2024, 421 new models of domestic mobile phones were listed, a year-on-year decrease of 4.5%, of which 207 were 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year decrease of 3.3%, accounting for 49.2% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

Second, the composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market
In December 2024, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 30.784 million units, a year-on-year increase of 25.4%, accounting for 89.2% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 27 new models were listed, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%, accounting for 96.4% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.
From January to December 2024, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 269 million units, a year-on-year increase of 16.3%, accounting for 85.6% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 396 new models were listed, a year-on-year decrease of 2.5%, accounting for 94.1% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

Third, the development of domestic smart phones
In December 2024, smartphone shipments reached 32.408 million units, a year-on-year increase of 20.8%, accounting for 93.9% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 14 new smartphone models, down 26.3% year-on-year, accounting for 50.0% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
From January to December 2024, smartphone shipments were 294 million units, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%, accounting for 93.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 284 new smartphone models, down 20.2% year-on-year, accounting for 67.5% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
