First, the overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market

In February 2025, the domestic market shipped 19.662 million mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 37.9%, of which 17.982 million 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 43.5%, accounting for 91.5% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

From January to February 2025, the domestic market shipped 46.905 million mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%, of which 41.619 million 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 7.6%, accounting for 88.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In February 2025, 13 new models of domestic mobile phones were listed, a year-on-year decrease of 43.5%, including 9 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year decrease of 52.6%, accounting for 69.2% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

From January to February 2025, 49 new models of domestic mobile phones were listed, a year-on-year decrease of 9.3%, of which 30 were 5G mobile phones, the same as the same period last year, accounting for 61.2% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

Second, the composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market

In February 2025, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 17.024 million units, a year-on-year increase of 43.8%, accounting for 86.6% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 13 new models launched by domestic brands, a year-on-year decrease of 38.1%, accounting for 100% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

From January to February 2025, 39.869 million domestic brand mobile phones were shipped, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%, accounting for 85.0% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 48 new models launched by domestic brands, a year-on-year decrease of 2.0%, accounting for 98.0% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

Third, the development of domestic smart phones

In February 2025, smartphone shipments will be 18.606 million units, a year-on-year increase of 32.5%, accounting for 94.6% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 11 new smartphone models, a year-on-year decrease of 47.6%, accounting for 84.6% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

From January to February 2025, smartphone shipments will be 4,311.2 units, a year-on-year decrease of 1.0%, accounting for 91.9% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 36 new smartphone models, a year-on-year decrease of 10.0%, accounting for 73.5% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
