1. The overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market
In February 2026, the domestic market shipped 16.789 million mobile phones, down 14.6% year-on-year, of which 15.931 million 5G mobile phones were shipped, down 11.4% year-on-year, accounting for 94.9% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.
From January to February 2026, mobile phone shipments in the domestic market were 39.655 million units, down 15.5% year-on-year, of which 35.801 million 5G mobile phones were shipped, down 14.0% year-on-year, accounting for 90.3% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In February 2026, 23 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 76.9%, of which 15 5G mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 66.7%, accounting for 65.2% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
From January to February 2026, 60 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 22.4%, of which 35 5G mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 16.7%, accounting for 58.3% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

2. The composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market
In February 2026, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 14.355 million units, down 15.7% year-on-year, accounting for 85.5% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 23 new models were launched by domestic brands, a year-on-year increase of 76.9%, accounting for 100% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
From January to February 2026, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 34.429 million units, down 13.6% year-on-year, accounting for 86.8% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 56 new models were launched by domestic brands, a year-on-year increase of 16.9%, accounting for 93.3% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

3. The development of domestic smartphones
In February 2026, smartphone shipments were 16.258 million units, down 12.6% year-on-year, accounting for 96.8% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 18 new models of smartphones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 63.6%, accounting for 78.3% of the number of new models launched in the same period.
From January to February 2026, smartphone shipments were 36.954 million units, down 14.3% year-on-year, accounting for 93.2% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 50 new models of smartphones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 38.9%, accounting for 83.3% of the number of new models launched in the same period.
