First, the overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market

In June 2024, the domestic market shipped 24.912 million mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%, of which 22.131 million 5G mobile phones, an increase of 27.8% year-on-year, accounting for 88.8% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

From January to June 2024, 147 million mobile phones were shipped in the domestic market, a year-on-year increase of 13.2%, of which 124 million 5G mobile phones were shipped, a year-on-year increase of 21.5%, accounting for 84.4% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In June 2024, 26 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 18.2%, including 11 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 57.1%, accounting for 42.3% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

From January to June 2024, 205 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 1.0%, of which 109 were 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 28.2%, accounting for 53.2% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

Second, the composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market

In June 2024, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 22.043 million units, a year-on-year increase of 12.7%, accounting for 88.5% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 26 new models were listed, a year-on-year increase of 30.0%, accounting for 100% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

From January to June 2024, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 124 million units, a year-on-year increase of 17.6%, accounting for 84.4% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 192 new models were listed, a year-on-year increase of 1.6%, accounting for 93.7% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

Third, the development of domestic smart phones

In June 2024, smartphone shipments reached 23.841 million units, a year-on-year increase of 14.3%, accounting for 95.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 19 new smartphone models, a year-on-year increase of 26.7%, accounting for 73.1% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

From January to June 2024, smartphone shipments were 139 million units, a year-on-year increase of 11.6%, accounting for 94.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 149 new smartphone models, down 13.9% year-on-year, accounting for 72.7% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
