1. The overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market
In June 2025, mobile phone shipments in the domestic market will be 22.598 million units, down 9.3% year-on-year, of which 18.436 million 5G mobile phones will be shipped, down 16.7% year-on-year, accounting for 81.6% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.
From January to June 2025, the domestic market will ship 141 million mobile phones, down 3.9% year-on-year, of which 121 million 5G mobile phones, down 3.0% year-on-year, accounting for 85.5% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In June 2025, 36 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 28.6%, of which 8 5G mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year decrease of 38.5%, accounting for 22.2% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
From January to June 2025, 238 new models of domestic mobile phones will be launched, a year-on-year increase of 10.2%, of which 103 5G mobile phones will be launched, a year-on-year decrease of 14.2%, accounting for 43.3% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

2. The composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market
In June 2025, domestic brand mobile phone shipments will be 20.627 million units, down 6.4% year-on-year, accounting for 91.3% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 34 new models were launched by domestic brands, an increase of 21.4% year-on-year, accounting for 94.4% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
From January to June 2025, domestic brand mobile phones were shipped, down 1.3% year-on-year, accounting for 86.6% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 226 new models were launched by domestic brands, an increase of 11.3% year-on-year, accounting for 95.0% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

3. The development of domestic smartphones
In June 2025, smartphone shipments were 20.557 million units, down 13.8% year-on-year, accounting for 91.0% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 10 new models of smartphones were launched, down 52.4% year-on-year, accounting for 27.8% of the number of new models on the market in the same period.
From January to June 2025, smartphone shipments were 130 million units, down 6.5% year-on-year, accounting for 92.1% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 153 new models of smartphones were launched, down 4.4% year-on-year, accounting for 64.3% of the number of new models launched in the same period.
