1. The overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market
In March 2026, mobile phone shipments in the domestic market were 21.15 million units, down 7.1% year-on-year, of which 19.667 million 5G mobile phones were shipped, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%, accounting for 93.0% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.
From January to March 2026, mobile phone shipments in the domestic market were 60.805 million units, down 12.7% year-on-year, of which 55.468 million 5G mobile phones were shipped, down 9.1% year-on-year, accounting for 91.2% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In March 2026, 19 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched, down 70.3% year-on-year, of which 13 5G mobile phones were launched, down 60.6% year-on-year, accounting for 68.4% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
From January to March 2026, 79 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched, down 30.1% year-on-year, of which 48 were 5G mobile phones, down 23.8% year-on-year, accounting for 60.8% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

2. The composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market
In March 2026, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 17.787 million units, down 14.8% year-on-year, accounting for 84.1% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 19 new models were launched by domestic brands, down 69.8% year-on-year, accounting for 100% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
From January to March 2026, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 52.216 million units, down 14.0% year-on-year, accounting for 85.9% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 75 new models were launched by domestic brands, down 32.4% year-on-year, accounting for 94.9% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

3. The development of domestic smartphones
In March 2026, smartphone shipments were 20.087 million units, down 6.3% year-on-year, accounting for 95.0% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 15 new models of smartphones were launched, down 68.8% year-on-year, accounting for 78.9% of the number of new models launched in the same period.
From January to March 2026, smartphone shipments were 57.04 million units, down 11.6% year-on-year, accounting for 93.8% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 65 new models of smartphones were launched, down 22.6% year-on-year, accounting for 82.3% of the number of new models launched in the same period.
