First, the overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market

In November 2024, the domestic market shipped 29.606 million mobile phones, a year-on-year decrease of 5.1%, of which 27.319 million 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 0.8%, accounting for 92.3% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

From January to November 2024, the domestic market shipped 280 million mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%, of which 241 million 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 12.0%, accounting for 86.2% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In November 2024, 40 new models of domestic mobile phones were listed, a year-on-year increase of 33.3%, of which 16 were 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year decrease of 15.8%, accounting for 40.0% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

From January to November 2024, 393 new models of domestic mobile phones were listed, a year-on-year decrease of 5.3%, of which 202 were 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year decrease of 0.5%, accounting for 51.4% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

Second, the composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market

In November 2024, domestic brand mobile phone shipments reached 26.571 million units, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%, accounting for 89.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 38 new models were listed, a year-on-year increase of 58.3%, accounting for 95.0% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

From January to November 2024, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 238 million units, a year-on-year increase of 15.2%, accounting for 85.1% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 369 new models were listed, a year-on-year decrease of 2.9%, accounting for 93.9% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

Third, the development of domestic smart phones

In November 2024, smartphone shipments were 28.193 million units, down 5.6% year-on-year, accounting for 95.2% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 23 new models of smartphones on the market, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%, accounting for 57.5% of the number of new models on the market in the same period.

From January to November 2024, smartphone shipments were 262 million units, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%, accounting for 93.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; There were 270 new smartphone models, down 19.9% year-on-year, accounting for 68.7% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.
