1. The overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market

In November 2025, mobile phone shipments in the domestic market will be 30.161 million units, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%, of which 5G mobile phones will be 27.614 million units, a year-on-year increase of 1.1%, accounting for 91.6% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

From January to November 2025, the domestic market will ship 282 million mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 0.9%, of which 244 million 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%, accounting for 86.6% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In November 2025, 31 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year decrease of 27.9%, of which 24 5G mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 26.3%, accounting for 77.4% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

From January to November 2025, 474 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 14.5%, of which 223 5G mobile phones were the same as the same period last year, accounting for 47.0% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

2. The composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market

In November 2025, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 23.228 million units, down 12.6% year-on-year, accounting for 77.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 30 new models were launched by domestic brands, down 26.8% year-on-year, accounting for 96.8% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

From January to November 2025, domestic brand mobile phones were shipped, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%, accounting for 85.4% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 451 new models were launched by domestic brands, a year-on-year increase of 15.6%, accounting for 95.1% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period.

3. The development of domestic smartphones

In November 2025, smartphone shipments were 28.751 million units, a year-on-year increase of 2.0%, accounting for 95.3% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 24 new models of smartphones were launched, down 7.7% year-on-year, accounting for 77.4% of the number of new models on the market in the same period.

From January to November 2025, smartphone shipments will be 262 million units, down 0.1% year-on-year, accounting for 92.8% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 309 new models of smartphones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 6.2%, accounting for 65.2% of the number of new models launched in the same period.
