In accordance with the relevant deployment of the "Guiding Opinions on Optimizing Business Access to Promote the Development of the Satellite Communication Industry", the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued a satellite mobile communication business license to China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Mobile). At present, following China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom, two basic telecommunications companies, have also obtained satellite mobile communication business qualifications, which can carry out mobile phone direct connection to satellites and other services in accordance with the law, deepen the application of emergency communications, maritime communications, remote area communications and other scenarios, and enrich the supply of communication services and products.

In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will thoroughly implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, coordinate development and security, further optimize satellite communication market access, strengthen the supervision and security of the whole chain, promote the high-quality development of the our country satellite communication industry, and strongly support the construction of a network power, a space power, and a digital China.
