On August 20, 2026, the French National Frequency Authority (ANFR) published a notice on its official website requesting VARROT ACCESSOIRES to recall the ESEEK GPS HOUND TRACKER GD03 dog collar from the French market due to violations of radio frequency usage regulations.
As part of its radio equipment market regulatory mission, ANFR inspected a GPS HOUND TRACKER GD03 model dog collar sold under the ESEEK brand. The collar was manufactured by Shenzhen Yixie Electronics Co., Ltd. and launched in the French market by VARROT ACCESSOIRES. The inspection revealed multiple defects, including unauthorized frequency use, incomplete conformity assessment procedures and technical documentation, power exceeding authorized ranges, and non-compliance with frequency usage technical conditions.
Since no measures were taken to stop the situation, ANFR decided to request a recall of the GPS HOUND TRACKER GD03 model under the ESEEK brand. Since the manufacturer did not respond or instruct them, the dealer was required to proactively recall the device.
