On September 4, 2026, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) completed the registration of four standards set by the Technical Standards Forum (MTSFB), which are:

• MCMC MTSFB TC T015:2026, IMT-Advanced (4G) User Devices (Second Revision);
• MCMC MTSFB TC T023:2026, IMT-Advanced (4G) base station;
• MCMC MTSFB TC T020:2026, Airborne Radio Communication Equipment—Technical Specifications (First Revision);
• MCMC MTSFB TC G058:2026, Internet of Things—Functional Safety Requirements.
