On July 14, 2026, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand issued a notice soliciting public comments on the draft revision of the "Safety Standard for the Use of Radio Communication Equipment for Human Health" (NBTC 5001–256X), which proposes to specify electromagnetic wave exposure limits and measurement methods for radio communication equipment in the frequency range from 8.3 kHz to 300 GHz. The measurement method adopted is IEC/IEEE 62209-1528:2020.
