On June 29, 2026, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) of the Philippines officially issued Memorandum Circular No. 004-06-2026. This circular amends Section 2 of Memorandum No. 03-05-2007, assigning the 77–81 GHz band to mobile detection and alarm devices, with a maximum power of 50 mW EIRP. This allocation is intended to support the deployment of advanced radar and sensing systems in automotive and industrial applications.
