On August 26, 2026, Argentina's National Communications Authority (ENACOM) issued Resolution 843/2026, extending the implementation deadline for the RAMATEL regulatory framework (Resolution 57/2026) from September 1, 2026 to December 1, 2026. During this transition period, the registration of telecommunications equipment will continue to follow the current Resolution 729/80 procedure; Approved certifications remain valid for three years, but upon expiration, they must comply with the new RAMATEL standards.
