On August 27, 2026, the Dominican Telecommunications Institute (INDOTEL) adopted Resolution 074-2026, clarifying regulatory requirements for low-power devices used in the 915–928 MHz band for purposes such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), telemetry, and smart metering. This resolution aligns with the country's current Frequency Allocation Plan (PNAF).

This resolution sets the maximum allowable equivalent Universal Radiated Power (EIRP) level and operating frequency bands based on equipment category and transmission technology:

• General low-power equipment: 100mW, 915-928MHz;
• FHSS/Digital Modulation System: 1W, 915-928MHz;
• Industrial and commercial RFID systems: 4W, 920-926MHz.
