On November 26, 2025, Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) issued an announcement on the revision of the "OPERATIONAL PROCEDURE FOR MARKING THE ANATEL HOMOLOGATION IDENTIFICATION ON TELECOMMUNICATIONS PRODUCTS" ( Decree No. 4088 of 2020). The feasibility of the plan is publicly solicited for comments. The public consultation focused on nine topics, focusing on the optimization of current certification marks in terms of product applicability, label-free and alternative methods, anti-counterfeiting security, numbering format, electronic label (e-label) and QR code marking.
