On September 23, 2026, Brazil's National Telecommunications Authority (ANATEL) issued Public Consultation No. 41, soliciting public comments on the draft technical requirements for Automatic Frequency Coordination (AFC) in the Wi-Fi 6e band. ANATEL's technical solutions are largely consistent with FCC technical proposals, but Brazil only opens the 5925 MHz – 6425 MHz band, and ANATEL requires integration with its official database BDTA.
