On May 20, 2026, India's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) issued a notice regarding product line guidelines compliant with the IS/IEC 62368: Part 1: 2023 standard. According to the updated guidelines, if the main model under test is the highest configuration, the report can include up to 10 models. The guide clarifies the requirements for each model in the product family, as well as the factors to consider without grouping these models together.
