On May 6, 2026, the National Committee for Electronic Communications, Radio Spectrum and Postal Services Regulatory Commission (NCEC) of Ukraine issued Decision No. 212. This decision revises Decision No. 81 of 2025 "On the Approval of General Conditions for the Use of Radio Equipment or Radio Devices" and includes references to the IEEE 802.11be standard (i.e., Wi-Fi 7). For low-power devices (LPI) with a transmission power of 23dBm, they are only allowed for indoor use; For ultra-low power devices (VLPs) with a transmission power of 14dBm, they can be used indoors or outdoors.
