Following the public consultation launched by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) on February 26, 2026, for RSS-Gen version 6 and RSS-310 version 6, ISED officially released the official versions of these two standards on July 30, 2026. The new standard takes effect from the date of release, and ISED provides a one-year transition period for both standards, so both the old and new standards will be available until July 30, 2027.
