On September 25, 2026, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) publicly solicited comments on the draft RSS-199 Issue 5. The main changes in the draft are as follows:

• for TDD devices operating in the 2500–2690 MHz band, alternative band planning has been added;
• editorial revisions and clarifications have been made as appropriate.
