Lenovo's YOGA Pad Pro tablet (with AR anti-reflection technology) has been awarded the "S++ Level" certificate for visual health friendliness


Tablets have become an increasingly indispensable part of modern life, especially in the fields of education and entertainment. However, prolonged use of tablets may have an impact on vision health, especially for children and adolescents. The eye protection technology of display terminals has been in the process of development, exploration and iteration, and the eye protection technology of display screen with AR anti-reflection technology has attracted attention recently and is applied to the display screen, what are its characteristics? How to protect our eyesight? With these questions in mind, let's first understand the rationale:

The AR anti-reflectiion technology mentioned here is AR anti-reflective coating, which has the characteristics of anti-reverse reflection, and its principle is simply classified as follows:

1. Anti-reflection effect:

AR coating is usually composed of multiple layers of transparent film, each layer has a different refractive index, by accurately controlling the thickness of different layers, it can effectively reduce the reflection of light, when the light passes through different refractive index layers, it can use the interference effect of light to cancel each other out, thereby reducing the amount of reflection.

2. Anti-reflection effect:

The reflected light generated is destructively interfered with on the front and back surfaces of the film through the AR coating, thereby improving the light transmittance and bringing less light loss. In terms of basic principle, the equipment blessed by AR coating can resist reverse reflection.

Lenovo YOGA Pad Pro tablet (with AR anti-reflection technology, certification model: TB520FU), recently carried out the application for visual health friendliness evaluation certification, and passed the standard evaluation of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (hereinafter referred to as "CAICT") and Zhongshan Ophthalmology Center of Sun Yat-sen University, and obtained the S++ certification certificate of visual health friendliness issued by the China Quality Certification Center (CQC). That is, the tablet with AR anti-reflection technology obtains a good double confirmation of health and comfort through the dual experience of actual optical display performance and human comfort.

CQC visual health friendliness certification is the first certification project that adopts the technical specifications of medical and engineering integration to comprehensively evaluate the optical display performance and human comfort of intelligent display devices. The technical specification was formulated by the CAICT, Zhongshan Ophthalmology Center of Sun Yat-sen University, CQC and terminal manufacturers, and is suitable for active light-emitting display devices, including TVs, mobile phones, computers, smart screens and other products. This kind of evaluation adopts the method of medical-engineering integration, and the evaluation dimensions covered are as follows:

Among them, the visual comfort is combined with the subjective comfort evaluation, covering ophthalmology, EEG and eye movement indicators, and the final evaluation results are comprehensively given. The corresponding evaluation level of the product can be divided into four levels, namely qualified, good, excellent and excellent, of which excellent corresponds to S++ level, which is the highest level.
