On August 26, 2026, the National Radio Research Agency (RRA) of Korea issued Notice No. 2026-6, abolishing two national standards for specific absorption rate (SAR) measurement procedures. The two standards to be abolished are as follows:

• KS C 3370-1:2022, SAR evaluation measurement procedure for radio devices used near the ear;
• KS C 3370-2:2022, SAR assessment measurement procedure for radio devices used in close proximity to the human body.

The RRA notified that KS C 3350:2024 replace the two standards mentioned above.
