On May 13, 2026, Chile's Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism (MINEFT) issued Decree No. 60, approving regulations for universal interoperability between mobile information and communication devices and their chargers. The technical standards based on this regulation are IEC 62680-1-2:2024 and IEC 62680-1-3:2024.
