On July 10, 2026, the Chilean Telecommunications Authority (SUBTEL) issued Exemption Resolution No. 1247, which consolidated Exemption Resolution No. 1985. The main changes include:

• The expression of power parameters is comprehensively standardized, replacing the ambiguous terms "radiated power" and "power" mixed in the original text with "equivalent omnidirectional radiated power (P.I.R.E.)";
• Deleted the test clause (a.2) in Article 1 of the original 1985 resolution concerning frequency stability under extreme operating conditions.
