Bolivia: ATT has updated the list of telecommunications products requiring type approval


Following the update ofthe telecommunications equipment type approval list by the Bolivian Telecommunications and Transport Regulatory Authority (ATT) on January 28, 2026, the ATT updated the online type approval product list on February 25, 2026, adding three new IoT categories, including LoRaWan, RFID, and SRD, and removing the category description column from the January 28 version.

Bolivia: ATT updates list of telecommunications products requiring homologation


On January 28, 2026, the Bolivian Telecommunications and Transport Regulatory Authority (ATT) updated the list of telecommunications equipment for homologation. It includes a total of 58 sub categories of products in 8 parent categories, including telephones, TV broadcasting equipment, sound broadcasting equipment, ground station equipment, transceivers and transmitters, data network equipment, multiplexers, and optical line terminals.

Bolivia: ATT adopts new type approval regulations to extend the validity of certificates to 10 years


On November 6, 2024, the Bolivian AUTORIDAD DE REGULACIÓN Y FISCALIZACIÓN DE TELECOMUNICACIONES Y TRANSPORTES (ATT) issued a new regulatory administrative resolution "ATT-DJ-RAR-TL LP 539/2024", replacing the previous regulation "ATT-DJ-RAR TL LP 443/2023". In Chapter V, Article 17, the new regulation stipulates that the validity period of the type approval certificate has been extended to 10 years, which is twice as long as the previous one.
